◾️ Overview
The Tokyo Consortium (※1) aims to support the accelerating growth of startups and the social implementation of innovation through the formation of a startup ecosystem in the Tokyo area.
Morning Pitch Asia: Tokyo Consortium Special Edition@Japan will be held at Tokyo Innovation Base (TIB) as a collaborative project between the Tokyo Consortium and Morning Pitch Asia. Morning Pitch is a pitching platform aimed at creating collaboration between large companies/investors and startups. It was launched in Japan in 2013 and has been held over 500 times, including in countries around the world, with over 2,350 startups pitching, resulting in over 65 IPOs and over 250 business partnerships.
This pitch event will feature 15 startups that are receiving intensive support from the Tokyo Consortium and are expected to grow rapidly in the future. In the second half of the event, a lightning pitch will be held to showcase the 6 startups that were selected for the Tokyo Consortium's FY10 Deep Ecosystem and Green Startup Support Programs. The pitches will be in English, but those attending the event will have time to interact with the companies, including a session in Japanese and time to take photos and exchange business cards, so please come to the event if you can.
*1 Tokyo Consortium is a startup ecosystem in the Tokyo area. Our aim is to support the social implementation of innovation by accelerating the growth of startups and forming an ecosystem in the Tokyo area.
