Based on the CO2 reduction capacity of forests and soils measured via computer vision MRV, we mint tokens → issue tradable carbon token certificates on the voluntary carbon market to forest owners (individuals | companies) → create a mechanism enabling carbon offsets for corporate ESG goals, contributing to a sustainable alternative economy.
Computer Vision MRV trains machine learning models using satellite imagery and biodiversity data from forests and soils (additional relevant data can also be incorporated). Theoretically, plotting any area on a global map allows measurement of that land's forest and soil CO2 reduction capacity. Re-measurement is also possible immediately following deforestation or development.
Based on this data, the goal is to generate carbon credits on the blockchain. By collaborating with international voluntary carbon certification bodies like VERRA, or Japanese carbon certification bodies such as J-Credits, these credits can become official carbon offset assets usable by major corporations for ESG compliance.
We are considering blockchains such as Ethereum, Polygon, Solana, and NEAR. From an adoption perspective, Ethereum is a strong candidate, while Solana is considered a leading option from an environmental sustainability standpoint.
