The "Deep Ecosystem" is a unique initiative by the Tokyo Consortium that selects startups poised for rapid growth with an eye toward global expansion, providing them with intensive support to propel them toward unicorn status. Selected companies receive diverse support from members leveraging the Tokyo Consortium's accumulated resources and network—including domestic and international venture capitalists, institutional investors, and experienced startups—with a focus not only on domestic growth but also on overseas expansion.

By selecting startups poised for rapid growth and providing them with intensive support, we will powerfully propel their development into unicorn-level companies.

■ Overview

The Tokyo Consortium aims to establish Tokyo as a global hub city for startup ecosystems, thereby enhancing international competitiveness, fostering the creation and growth of startups, and ultimately achieving sustainable economic development for Tokyo. It also seeks to promote activities that implement innovation driven by the startup ecosystem into society and give back to the community.

Applications for this program are now closed.

The "Deep Ecosystem" program requires applicants to be "domestic startups and members of the Tokyo Consortium." Even if you are not currently a member of the Tokyo Consortium, you are welcome to join if you agree with the Consortium's objectives.Membership is free of charge. Non-members who apply will receive an email from the secretariat with membership instructions at a later date. For advance details on the membership process, please email the Tokyo Consortium Operations Secretariat. We encourage all interested parties to participate.

Event Information

On June 2, 2023, we will host the "Event to Foster Momentum for Creating Unicorn-Level Companies," during which we will discuss the Deep Ecosystem recruitment initiative.
