Tokyo Metropolitan Government Small and Medium Enterprise System Loan: 'Startup'
To facilitate the smooth procurement of start-up capital and post-launch business funding, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, the Tokyo Credit Guarantee Association, and financial institutions will collaborate to provide funding. The maximum loan amount is 35 million yen, with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government subsidizing half of the credit guarantee fee.

The maximum loan amount is 280 million yen, with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government subsidizing two-thirds of the credit guarantee fee.

This program provides grants to cover a portion of the initial startup expenses required for individuals planning to start a business in Tokyo or small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) established within the last five years. Women, Youth, and Senior Entrepreneurship Support 2.0
To support community-based startups by women, young people, and seniors in Tokyo, we provide a combination of low-interest, unsecured loans through credit unions and business management support from local startup advisors. Loan limits are up to ¥15 million (up to ¥20 million for women). However, loans for working capital only are limited to up to ¥7.5 million (up to ¥10 million for women). Business advice is available for up to five years from the loan execution date.
