Overview

The Tokyo Consortium aims to establish Tokyo as a global hub city for startup ecosystems, thereby strengthening international competitiveness, creating and growing startups, and ultimately achieving sustainable economic development for Tokyo. It also aims to implement innovations from the startup ecosystem into society and promote activities that give back to the community.

"Green Startup Support" is a unique initiative by the Tokyo Consortium that selects startups with high growth potential and a focus on overseas expansion, providing them with intensive support to help them achieve their goals. Selected companies will receive support from a diverse group of members, including domestic and international venture capitalists, institutional investors, and senior startups, leveraging the Tokyo Consortium's accumulated resources and network, with a view to expanding not only domestically but also overseas.

One of the eligibility requirements for the "Green Startup Support" program is that applicants must be "domestically founded startups and members of the Tokyo Consortium." Even if you are not currently a member of the Tokyo Consortium, you are welcome to join if you support the organization’s mission. Membership is free.
For those who have applied but are not yet members of the Tokyo Consortium, the Secretariat will send you an email with membership instructions at a later date.
